Offline mode
Offline is a common problem working in rural areas, which is something we have considered when developing the app and our GPS trackers.
App
Unfortunately, an app can’t work 100% without connecting to a signal now and then. Hence the app requires connecting to either a mobile data network or wi-fi when starting or stopping a task. Everything in between works smoothly, even in the most remote areas. The timer will even continue tracking if you run out of battery on your phone.
GPS trackers
Our GPS trackers are 100% bulletproof when it comes to dead zones. They are each born with a memory card, and if connectivity is lost, GPS coordinates are stored inside the tracker until the signal is again established.
